Kim Kardashian and Hello Kitty are both fashion icons in their own right, and when the two come together, it's manicure magic.
Kim Kardashian paid homage to the Sanrio superstar with her latest baby pink mani, which she wore for a trip to Tokyo, Japan. Her long, coffin-shaped nails were painted in a classic pink and white French manicure style with a Hello Kitty charm on the ring finger of one hand and two cherry blossoms on her other hand. Kardashian's manicure was done by Kim Truong, who also created sister Kourtney's delicate cherry nails. According to Truong, she used DesignEx Pro Medium Coffin Tips to lengthen Kardashian's nails and The Gel Bottle gel polish in Marshmallow for the base with Daisy for the arched French, then added a Hello Kitty charm from City Nails 5.

Kardashian wasn't the only one living the Sanrio lifestyle with her nails. Her mini-me beauty influencer daughter North West, who traveled to Tokyo with her mom and sister Chicago, showed off her bedazzled nails on TikTok, courtesy artist Diem Truong. While her mother's mani featured two statement nails, West's were totally covered in charms, including Hello Kitty, stars, pearl-encrusted hearts and so much more. (It also matched her baby pink braids.)

Kardashian is firmly back on Team Long Nails lately, though she shared that her stiletto and coffin-shaped manis are all press-ons for easy versatility from the red carpet to her life as a law student. In the past, Kardashian has stuck to neutral or dark shades, but she's been branching out into new manicure territories, including a vivid lime green and a vampy red. Even Kardashian can't resist the siren call of Sanrio and the power of Hello Kitty!
